Satch Works Auto Repair first opened its doors in 1999 as a modest 2-bay shop in Port Hadlock, started by Tom “Satch” Yarbrough and his wife Gail.
In 2012, the shop changed hands but retained its original values. Ben Richardson, a lifelong Port Townsend resident with roots in the community, purchased the shop and brought fresh energy to the business. Ben's journey into the world of auto repair began the old-fashioned way: after buying his first truck as a teenager. That challenge sparked a lifelong passion for automotive repair, which eventually evolved into a career. By 2019, with a growing customer base and a trusted name in the area, Ben opened a second location in Port Townsend, WA.
